We had a cold snap in February, and our weekend plans of camping were put on hold. Oregon roads are a MESS as soon as a small dusting falls and you’re smart to just stay home. The winter storm was a nice break…schools and businesses closed which gave us a nice long weekend to stay home and relax. Boy the Bambi looks cozy in the snow!
Pillow look familiar???? (:

I’m sorry. I meant to send that last message to my husband. (: My dear friend gave me that pillow for Christmas and I love it! Then I scrolled down and saw the beer! I bought some of that around Christmas time…mostly because of the Airstream, of course! You see, we had a Bambi up until this past Sun when we sold it to a very nice couple in Atlanta. (We’re in NC) We bought a 25ft Flying Cloud (25th anniversary and all…)that I know we will enjoy very much, but I swear, the Bambi had its own personality. I think you know what I mean. (; By the way, LOVE your photographs! My husband and I have enjoyed them so much. AND, it sounds like you’re doing well after your treatment. Congratulations on the completion. I’m a breast Cancer survivor, diagnosed last Sept and finished radiation in Dec. Our best to you, and another congrats on the grand baby! Precious!

Wow Paula…sound like we have a lot in common. Todd and I actually walked through some larger Airstreams this past weekend. Someday when we have more time to travel we’d really like one. I’m not sure we could sell our little Bambi though – we might just have to make room for two!
Congratulations to you too on finishing your breast cancer treatment! Life seems a little sweeter on the other side, doesn’t it!!

I am really impressed with your photos! You have a real sense of how to make them pop with color and the subjects are so interesting and you make Oregon look like a camping paradise and ….. Sorry for the gushing, but I must say that your blog inspired us to start one on our own travels. Not to mention helping with the decision of getting our first camper – a 19′ Flying Cloud. Now we’ll have to venture forth from Indiana to Oregon and others points westward. Thanks again, and keep those posts coming!

Hi Jon & Karen…Oregon can be paradise if you’re not frightened off by a little rain. And…imagine the adventures you’ll have as you travel here from Indiana! Someday, we’ll head east when we have time….can’t wait! Enjoy your Bambi and send me a link if you do a blog with your adventures!
