Since we purchased the larger trailer, we’ve become much better planners and have been reserving favorite camping sites ahead of time. Planning ahead wasn’t as much of an issue with our 16ft as we could squeeze into all kinds of awesome spots. The 25ft, as fabulous as it is, means great sites aren’t as nearly as abundant…and I’m picky.
So reserve we do. Which, is why we packed up and headed to Memaloose two weekends in a row. Our plan was to cancel one weekend, depending on the weather, but the weather was great both weekends and we took advantage of our good luck. We just love it here!

It’s not green like this for very long, but it’s so pretty while it lasts!

The river was much calmer this weekend. You don’t see the Columbia this calm often…

spent some time watching the trains go by.

Did some hiking around Rowena Crest and the wildflower preserve….

Received these as a gift before we left 🙂 So cheerful!

Hiked around Rowena and had a nice lunch in The Dalles

Love poppies!

You can see why I love it here so much!

My husband and I cannot afford to travel in an airstream so being able to share your travels in that sweet (not so) little trailer is a pleasure to follow. Your pictures are gorgeous and I can put myself there without having to leave my driveway. Thank you for sharing.
