Unbeknownst to us at the time, this ended up being our last camping trip with our 25′ International. We’d been talking about remodeling it to the Grand Lounge from Ultimate Airstream but decided in the end to move up to the 28′. Rumor had it, even last summer, that the International model was going to be discontinued and we decided to upgrade to the model we wanted while it was still available. It was fun looking back through these last photos though. It was a pretty trailer.

I find myself wondering sometimes if we’ll ever run into the new owners on the road someday.  We’re always on the lookout for red awnings! Our 25′ ended up in Los Angeles and our Bambi was traded in at the Portland Airstream dealership. At least one could be in our local vicinity.  Hope we cross paths in the future…

Our last trip was at Fort Stevens in Astoria. It’s crazy busy here in June – regardless, we still love it. It’s a great campground for bike riding and the proximity to the old town is a definite bonus. Astoria is colorful, eclectic and fun to explore. Looking at these photos makes me want a return trip….
