Six months since my last blog post. Not sure why I let myself get so far behind, because I really enjoy revisiting our travels. So, today as we’re stuck on day 6 of this snow/ice storm in Portland, I’ll attempt to catch up on our summer adventures.
In July, we gathered as a family for a few wonderful days in Camp Sherman. My parents love the area as much as we do! The stay in the Metolius River Cabins that are just a short 1/2 mile walk to the campground. It’s a nice way for us to share with them what it is that we love so much about the area.
It was a wonderful, relaxing weekend and we’re already making plans for our return next summer.

Metolius River Cabins.

The kids had a great time “fishing” along the river banks.

It’s a short walk from the campground the cabins…and it’s really pretty!

Lazy afternoons…

It’s just awesome here!

Sweet peas blooming along the riverbank.

Great memories with the family!

Lots of walks and little adventures…
I really enjoy your posts! I think I should start commenting when we don’t see one for awhile to get you back here!

I just came across your blog and am looking for info on using a 16ft Bambi sport. Looks like my trepidation on whether it could work for us(2 of us) or not is unfounded. Thanks for sharing!
