We got in one last trip in August before I had to return to school. We never camp at state campgrounds at the beach in the summer – they’re just too crowded. But, we were desperate. Everything was booked and I found a last minute cancelation at Nehalem bay, so we decided to give it a try.
We were very pleasantly surprised. We got a great corner spot along the dunes and the two sites on either side of us were no-shows. The campground was humming but our little corner was relatively quiet. We had a great couple of days! Here are a few colorful and happy photos to document the weekend.
